KidBiz, the entrepreneurial program for children organized by the Small Business Development Center at SUNY Buffalo State, was featured in the June 15 issue of Buffalo Magazine, an insert in the Buffalo News.
The article, which includes several comments from staff members, focuses on the success of the entrepreneurial program targeted to children in third through sixth grade. Since its inception 18 years ago, more than 200 budding entrepreneurs have completed the program, the only one of its kind in New York State’s 24 small business development centers.
Kids who complete the training have the opportunity to sell their wares in the KidBiz Marketplace adjacent to Elmwood Bidwell Farmers Market on three Saturday mornings this summer. The remaining dates are July 5 and August 2.
