The campus community is invited to participate in an economic development conference that addresses doing business with anchor institutions, prime contractors, and government agencies. The conference, "Big Opportunities for Small Business," includes an outstanding array of speakers possessing strong expertise in procurement, creative problem solving, and social media marketing. The opening keynote presentation will be given by Howard Zemsky, president of New York State Empire State Development. The luncheon keynote speaker is New York State Assemblyman Robin Schimminger, chair of the New York State Assembly's Commerce Committee. The conference includes all materials and lunch. This event is made possible through a grant from the United States Small Business Administration. The conference fee is waived for Buffalo State faculty, staff, and students.
